Brooklyn was sitting in the grass with her back against a tree. Her eyes were closed and she wasn't daydreaming as usual. She was really just taking a rest from her hard day's work. She had been running around school doing tons of favors for people and doing her own chores. The next time someone asked a favor of her, she really needed to say no. Brooklyn's arms and legs ached so bad, she didn't try to move them. She really wanted to rest in her bedroom, but she'd be constantly distracted by the screaming and shouting of the guys over a soccer game and who was the most handsome. She chuckled as she thought about how no one in her life found them attractive what so ever. But these past weeks, Brooklyn wasn't really focusing on that. She had her mind on the summer break.

The tired girl brought her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around her shins. She accepted the pain from bending her legs and sighed at the busy lawn. In a matter of a half-hour, It would be empty. People off at the Mall. People off at extra activities. And people off doing nothing at all. Glancing around, Brooklyn became bored. She tugged on her dark jeans and brushed the dirt off of her black slide-ons. She was thinking of heading off to the mall herself to go do something entertaining in a minute. But she'd probably need a wheelchair with her hurting muscles. She laid back against the trunk just to find herself finally alone. Dead quiet and a time to seriously relax. She closed her eyes again and exhaled with a tiny smile on her face. It was probably the first time she had smiled all day.

Brooklyn Davis glanced up to see Luke, she hadn't spoken to him since the end of Junior Year and now here they were starting their senior year. "Luke!" Brooklyn's voice was fun and energectic as usual even if her limbs did hurt... not hearing his question about if she was alright Brooklyn spoke yet again. "How are you?"Just memories of when thjey dated a couple years ago flashed through her mind until they were intruppted by Luke's voice. "Of course you can sit." Brooklyn said through a little bit of giggling... whether she planned to tell Luke or not she had some serious feelings for him.

Brooklyn looked up at Luke and took a minute to respond. Well how was she? She could always say the truth that she had been good or be funny and say her limbs hurted because they did. "Horrid, my limbs hurt sooo bad!" The brunette spoke in a joking overdramatic voice before giving Luke on of her infamous smiles. But the smile faded and her face got more serious when he brought up their break up... taking a deep breath she nodded before she dared to speak. "Why do ask?"
